Different Types of hardwood floors

Veneer wood floor are very similar to laminate floors. The advantage is that with a veneer floor to top layer is a thin piece or real hardwood instead of a laminates. Veneer floor is mainly approx 7mm in thickness and the top wood coat being about 0.7mm. Advantages of a veneer floors are that they are easy to install and you have a lux like real wood floor. Prefinished Wood Floors

Most factory finished hardwood floors have several coats of poly urethane applied to the wood’s surface. As example, many wood floor factorye’s are applying 8-12 coats of a ultraviolet cured urethane.
